There's something about greenery that instantly transforms a space. Whether it's a sculptural arrangement on a dining table, a potted plant in a quiet corner or a statement piece welcoming guests in an entrance hall, greenery has a way of softening a room, adding texture and creating a quiet sense of calm.
We're delighted to introduce our new additions to our Artificial Greenery Collection, a carefully designed range of handcrafted artificial botanical arrangements created to sit effortlessly within both contemporary and classic interiors. Beautifully realistic and thoughtfully made, each piece celebrates the beauty of nature while offering lasting style that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
Inspired by Nature, Crafted by Hand
At rtfact flowers, we believe artificial botanicals should feel every bit as considered as the interiors they're destined for.
Every arrangement begins with carefully chosen vessels and exceptionally realistic stems, brought together by our team in Surrey with a focus on balance, proportion and natural movement. From sculptural moss bowls and elegant plants to architectural foliage that adds height and interest, every design is created to feel effortless, refined and authentic.
Rather than chasing seasonal trends, we focus on creating pieces that become part of a home—arrangements that feel as relevant years from now as they do today.
Behind the Collection
Our collections are never static but evolve quietly over time as new arrangements are introduced.
Throughout the year we're continually sourcing new vases, planters and decorative pots from suppliers around the world. Sometimes it's the shape of a ceramic bowl, the texture of a hand-finished vase or the colour of a planter that sparks an idea for an entirely new arrangement.
Once a new vessel arrives, the creative process begins.
Around our design table we'll experiment with different varieties of greenery, trying combinations of foliage, adjusting proportions and playing with texture until everything feels balanced. Occasionally the perfect pairing comes together almost immediately. More often, it takes a few attempts before we find the arrangement that feels just right.
It's a wonderfully creative process and one that often surprises us. Some of our favourite designs have emerged from combinations we hadn't originally planned.
When a design is complete, it's taken into our Surrey studio, where one of our experienced florists creates the arrangement by hand. Every stem is individually placed and carefully adjusted, giving each piece the natural movement and organic shape that defines our work.
Although every arrangement follows the same design, each one is handmade, making every piece subtly unique.
Bespoke Artificial Greenery Design
This considered approach also extends into our bespoke work. Here, the focus moves beyond individual arrangements and into the wider rhythm of a space. Working closely with clients and designers, we create botanical pieces shaped by the interiors they're destined for, guided by photographs, measurements and an understanding of light and proportion.
Each design is developed to sit naturally within its surroundings, with careful attention to scale and balance. The intention is never to overwhelm a space, but to refine it.
Why Designers Style with Greenery
One of the final layers in any beautifully designed interior is greenery. Once the furniture is in place, lighting has been considered and artwork has found its home, botanical styling helps bring the whole scheme together. Organic forms soften architectural lines, adding depth and balance without competing with the surrounding space.
Interior designers often use greenery to draw attention to a beautifully styled console, frame an entrance hall or bring life to shelving and coffee tables. These finishing touches may seem subtle, but they're often what makes a room feel complete.
Whether in a family home, boutique hotel or commercial project, greenery introduces an effortless sense of permanence…something that quietly enhances a space without ever demanding attention.
A Collection Designed for Beautiful Interiors
When launching this collection, we wanted to photograph it in interiors that reflect the same philosophy we bring to our own work – homes that feel calm, layered and thoughtfully curated.
We're therefore delighted to share imagery from a beautiful residential project by interior designer Katie Watkinson, whose elegant approach perfectly complements the natural simplicity of our botanical arrangements.
Katie's interiors are known for their warmth, layers and beautifully considered details. Throughout the project, our greenery sits naturally within the scheme, demonstrating how carefully chosen botanical styling can become part of a room rather than simply an accessory.
The project was beautifully captured by renowned interiors photographer Darren Chung, whose eye for light and texture brings every space to life. His photography perfectly illustrates how thoughtfully placed greenery can enhance an interior while allowing the architecture, furnishings and materials to remain the focus.
We're incredibly grateful to both Katie and Darren for allowing us to share this inspiring project as part of our collection launch.
